Job Overview
The most successful candidate will have an authentic passion for the hospitality industry, a record of success in a fast-paced environment, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The General Manager will be in charge of managing the property and the Aethos Club. The ideal candidate will have experience in experiential hospitality, including member clubs and destination restaurants. The candidate will be an effective leader and must be a true ambassador of the Aethos brand.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Lead the existing team and add new team members
Drive revenue and profitability with full P&L responsibility
Create a world-class guest experience
Work and thrive to always innovate to improve the property's performance
Responsible for overall guest satisfaction
Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner
Organize and conduct department meetings on a regular basis
Core Competencies
Lawful permanent resident, eligible to work in the UK.
8+ years of hospitality experience
Experience in launching F&B concepts
Experience in Club membershipCapable of creating a passionate, friendly, efficiently accomplish tasks at hand
Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general
Research, organizational skills, and extraordinary relationship-building skills
Ability to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environments
Strong communication (both written and oral) and management skills.
Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage is common
Ability to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticism
Must be effective at listening to, understand high thriving work environment
Collaborative and communicates well to provide direction/delegation tonding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and information
Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanour at all times, while remaining genuine
