We're now seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award winning team as General Manager at Newcross Care Home in Wolverhampton.
Job responsibilitiesYour focus as General Manager will be to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, whilst meeting regulatory requirements, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of high quality person centred care and that residents receive care based on best practice.
- Be responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
- Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, and with health and social care professionals involved in residents' wellbeing.
- Ensure safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
- Provide ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Manage costs effectively, keep budgetary controls in place, review and monitor stock regularly.

- Have a minimum of four years' experience in a similar care environment.
- Hold Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
- Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Requirements- DBS Disclosure check - the cost will be met by Avery Healthcare.
