General Manager - Award Winning Pub, Bar and Restaurant Group - Quality - London

Urban Pubs, Bars and Restaurants are currently recruiting for a talented and highly skilled General Manager with personality & charisma for our expanding group.

Just a short walk from Tower Bridge, The Tower Bridge Arms sits at the end of the Bermondsey Beer Mile, making it a lively, fast paced pub in one of London's most iconic riverside spots. The venue attracts a mix of tourists, city workers, and loyal locals, creating a buzzing atmosphere day to day.

The Role
  • As GM you will take full ownership of all aspects of running the venue. You will be given autonomy and run the site as if it were your own business.
  • Being business savvy and demonstrating great commercial acumen is a must.
  • Your team will look up to you; it's essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction.
  • You have impeccable floor, bar and late night experience knowledge.
  • You will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow.
What we're looking for:

  • Must have minimum 2 years' experience as a general manager, depending on the property being looked at.
  • Solid communication and organisational skills, be approachable.
  • Superb customer & floor service skills.
  • Excellent all round business knowledge from financials to customer satisfaction.
  • An entrepreneurial flare.
  • Passionate about people, training, mentoring, growing a team but most importantly, loves to have fun.
  • Personal licence holder beneficial.
