Job Description

Huge new opening in 2026, ideal for French speakers! V.energetic owners w/ large international portfolio, must love service and leading a large team.

Opening Highlights
  • 1st opening in London for renowned group
  • Very autonomous role with lots of support from wider business
  • One for Francophiles - brasserie classics and ideal for French speakers
  • Will be a large and bustling spot with a big team to lead
  • Exceptional pre opening training within the existing business overseas
  • French lessons included

This new opening in West London will be the first UK outpost for this well established and excellent group of restaurants based in France. It will be Parisian style Brasserie/Bistrot with a frequently changing menu that the HC will be responsible for. Each of the restaurants in this group is managed by the GM & HC and has strong, individual identities.

The owners of this group are super dynamic and value input from their teams; they'd love to find a GM that's happy to work autonomously, although there will be a lot of support from the existing business and head office teams up for grabs.

The restaurant will be in an amazing location in West London with an outdoor terrace, a large dining room and space for private events too. This will be a big opening and a high volume operation with a large team, around 30 FOH and 30 BOH. The restaurant will be open 7 days a week so you'll have the opportunity for a good mix of shifts. Aiming to open in summer 2026 the owners would love to have the senior team lined up early in the new year and have some excellent overseas training planned.

You'll be responsible for all the usual GM responsibilities and you'll need to be operationally strong, but the focus here for the owners is an entrepreneurial spirit and being a strong leader of people. It will be a large team to manage and you'll be responsible for training and development as well as fostering a positive working environment. Someone that loves being in the thick of a busy service will be totally essential for this role, and in an ideal world you would be a French speaker too even if a little rusty!
