General Manager

Sales focused General Manager role with some B2C sales experience preferred. We will develop your P&L knowledge and you will get great development in this role.

You must be growth / sales focused; this is a chance to run a small business unit and double its size. Sales focus; B2C and B2B.

Salary TBC - base £40,000 with a realistic chance to add an extra £15,000 with profit share. Hybrid role, spending time at HQ near Ilkeston, with customers in the field and some work from home.

• Driving sales growth both B2B and B2C
• Managing and organising a small team
• Looking at break-even point, margin and profitability and strategically setting up the business area for growth

We are looking for someone who is:

• Based within 20 miles of Ilkeston. You will still need to travel to HQ
• Sales focused - this is a role that is focused on growth and sales. You will be strong with dealing with customers (B2B and B2C)
• You are maybe currently a Business Development Manager / BDM / sales executive looking for that next step up. We want someone who is ambitious.
• Commercially astute - we will train you on the P&L side of things but you will be the sort of person who is business focused and the sort of person who asks questions about break even point, margin etc.

This General Manager role is commutable from Ilkeston, Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton, Heanor, Hucknall, Stapleford and the surrounding areas.
