Job Description

We're looking for a General Manager to lead Boclair House; a much-loved wedding venue, where unforgettable memories are created every week.

As General Manager, you'll be a confident, consistent and decisive leader who inspires every department to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You'll balance being hands-on in the operation with providing clear leadership, coaching, and strategic direction.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, coach and motivate the venue team, ensuring they feel supported, empowered and inspired.

  • Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure standards remain consistently high.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations while keeping a focus on long-term improvements.

  • Work closely with the Managing Director and Support Team to identify and deliver continuous improvements that make a real difference.

  • Balance operational leadership with people management, creating a culture where your team can thrive.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in weddings, events, hotels and/or food & beverage.

  • A people-focused leader who is active in the operation and leads by example.

  • Someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while staying calm and decisive.
