Searcys is seeking an experienced and inspiring General Manager to lead operations at one of our flagship event venues. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about delivering seamless event experiences, exceeding client expectations, and driving commercial success.

There is an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join Searcys during a pivotal time in the company's development.
You may be required to work some evenings at larger events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set an annual budget in line with company targets and deliver forecasts and yearly goals.
- Monitor monthly and quarterly targets to ensure full-year objectives are met.
- Develop strategic plans to drive profitable sales and improve standards.
- Recruit, motivate, develop, and manage venue staff to achieve objectives.
- Ensure resource planning maximizes opportunities to meet budget and retain staff.
- Communicate client and company expectations across all levels of the venue.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate financial control systems and ensure full use of the Evolution software system.
- Provide financial information promptly and accurately to Support Office and leadership.
- Adhere to banking and cash security procedures in line with company policy.
- Achieve a minimum score of 90% on European Safety Bureau and 5-star scores on EHO visits.
- Meet statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation.
- Conduct Food Safety and Health & Safety Risk Assessments and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of management or leadership experience, with success in leading and developing teams.
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality and events sectors.
- Experience managing a P&L.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and performance targets.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience managing large-scale management teams.
