The Job:We are seeking a dynamic, hands on General Manager to lead the Soft Fruit Division, covering strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. This operational role involves managing day to day production, optimising yield and quality, leading a multidisciplinary team and collaborating across supply chain, commercial and technical functions. The position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and is willing to "roll up their sleeves" to deliver results. Clear progression into senior leadership is possible within 1-2 years.

The Candidate:- Proven managerial experience in soft fruit, horticulture, fresh produce, or a related agricultural sector
- Strong operational expertise with experience overseeing complex growing and production systems
- Hands on leadership style, capable of working alongside teams during busy periods
- Excellent knowledge of quality standards, technical compliance and retailer requirements
- Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and KPI tracking
- Effective communicator, able to lead diverse teams and influence stakeholders
- Desirable: experience with glasshouse or controlled environment agriculture, working with large retailers, or relevant qualifications in horticulture, agriculture, food science or business management.
