General Manager - IrelandOur team currently has a vacancy for a General Manager - Ireland (Including Statutory Directorship)YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESYou will position Brenntag's Last Mile Operations in Ireland as a strategic advantage for our customers and suppliersYou will implement the Brenntag Essentials division's strategy for growth and customer satisfaction in the areas of sales, customer service, logistics, operations and safetyYou are responsible for the sites, their equipment and personnel and therefore carry out far-sighted capacity, investment and personnel planningYou lead with the help of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and P&L metrics to measure and improve business performance, including volume, gross profit, personnel and operating costsYou ensure a continuous increase in gross profit while improving conversion rate and working capital metrics for inventory and accounts receivableMaintain close collaboration with the regional sourcing organization and product management/material management teams through volume, price and inventory managementYou drive the Brenntag culture and lead with clearly formulated guidelines, expectations and KPIsEnsure compliance with high safety standards with our zero tolerance for unsafe processes and take corrective action where necessaryYou ensure the maintenance of documented procedures for the work processes in close cooperation with the employees on site as well as the specialist departments of the higher-level organizational unitsYOUR PROFILEYou have a basic academic education in business administration, industrial sales, industrial management, marketing, operations management, sales, supply chain management, logistics or financeYou have extensive and established experience in sales/manufacturingYou have proven success in leadership and management, including experience of having worked at senior/executive level previously.You have a strong mix of commercial and operational experience in your professional backgroundYou have an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong focus on resultsYou act as an exemplary ambassador for safetyYou are self-motivated, assertive, full of energy and drive and are characterized by a strong winner mentalityYou are characterized by your independent way of thinking and as an excellent team playerYou have excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal, analytical and creative skillsYou have a strong affinity for digital tools and solutionsYou ideally have experience of the chemical sectorBrenntag TA Team
