A little bit about the opportunity

Set on the banks of the River Thames, just moments from Hammersmith Bridge, The Blue Anchor has been part of the local landscape since 1722. With its 17th-century wood-panelled bar downstairs and a beautifully refurbished River Room upstairs offering sweeping Thames views, this is a venue full of charm, history, and genuine hospitality. The experience continues externally with a stunning beer garden that is recognised by the local community for its captivating views and ambience.

We're now looking for a talented and hands-on General Manager to take the reins of this Chapter Collection site. This is a premium business with a loyal following and a big personality. You'll be leading, inspiring and developing a large, passionate team and overseeing everything from exceptional day-to-day service and hospitality to private events.

It's a role for someone who's confident running a busy operation, coupled with the love of delivering a memorable guest experience, and ideally has proven experience managing a standards focused business offering the freshest of menus.

If you've got strong leadership experience, a love for great food and drink, and the kind of presence that makes both teams and guests feel at home, this could be the perfect next step. The Blue Anchor isn't just a pub-it's a landmark. And this is your chance to shape its next chapter.
