Job Description
A Food Retailer is looking for a General Manager in Distribution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a Graduate calibre.
- 5 years experience in logistics management role.
- IT literate.
- Finance/Profit & Loss Management.
- Project Management.
- Min 3 years Manufacturing food logistics experience.
- People Leadership.
- Commercial Acumen.
- Negotiating and Contracting.
- Identifying key issues and priorities.
- Leading and Managing Change.
- Business English.
- Achieving results in complex/ambiguous situations.
Responsibilities:
- To maximise the weekly, monthly and annual performance of the site(s) by providing leadership, focusing on customer requirements, effective operational performance, a motivated workforce, and succession planning.
- Working in partnership with the customer and formulating relationships within the customer network.
- To integrate new working patterns in order to effect continuous improvement.
- Be able to actively demonstrate effective communications with employees, Trade Unions, and the customer base.
- Manage a diverse team in order to fulfill business requirements and prioritise effectively so there is no detriment to the customer targets and volumes.
Salary: 110k
