Vacancy: General Assistant - Maternity Cover

Employer: Burnbake Campsite Location: Dorset

To assist the Housekeeping coordinator in the smooth running of changeovers, ensuring the lodges are ready for guests and our high standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Must be physically fit with a willingness to work outdoors in any weather.
• Must hold a driving license and be happy driving an automatic vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in delivering clean linen to lodges in the morning and collecting dirty linen at the end of the day.
• Making up and delivering guest welcome packs to lodges.
• Delivering special requests to lodges, such as logs, kindling, high chairs and cots.
• Cleaning fire pits and grills between changeovers.
• Helping with in house laundry (cleaning cloths, dog blankets, etc.).
• Checking and topping up lodge inventory.
• Performing occasional light cleaning duties as required.

Additional Duties

• Undertake any other reasonable management request.
• Attend staff meetings when required.
• Work flexibly where possible to support the business when required.

Legal Duties

• Comply fully with all legal requirements including GDPR, Employment Law, Weights and Measures, (this list is not exhaustive).
• Attend any training when required.
• Ensure full compliance with all areas of Health and Safety as per company Health and Safety policy at all times.

Job Duration: 12 month, part time maternity cover with set hours of 8 5 on a Monday and Friday.

Salary: £12.71 per hour
