Job Title: General Administrator
Location: Croydon
Salary: £26,000 - £28,500 plus pension and 28 days holiday including statutory days

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive General Administrator to support our day-to-day office operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling incoming calls and emails from clients and engineers
  • Assist with scheduling jobs and coordinating engineer diaries when needed
  • Preparing and updating reports and compliance documentation
  • Maintaining accurate customer and job records in internal systems
  • Assisting with quotations and general administrative paperwork
  • Filing, scanning, and document management
  • Supporting the management team with general office tasks
  • Ensuring smooth communication between office staff and field engineers
Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience (preferred)
  • Ideally you will have a background in Water Hygiene or Asbestos
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail
