Job Description
About the Role

  • Deliver engaging and tailored GCSE tuition sessions

  • Support students in building subject knowledge, exam technique and confidence

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

  • Track and monitor student progress

Subjects

We are particularly interested in tutors who can teach one or more of the following at GCSE level:

  • English Language and/or Literature

  • Maths

  • Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential

  • Experience teaching or tutoring at GCSE / Key Stage 4 level

  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of GCSE exam specifications

  • Patient, adaptable and committed to improving student outcomes

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay for this role varies between £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
