South East/ temporary / £25 - 32 per hour Depending on experience

Responsibilities

The Head Teacher is looking to take on an experienced GCSE English Teacher on a Long Term basis until the end of the academic year. The successful GCSE English Teacher will be teaching students in a subject they are passionate about, inspiring them to study at a higher level thereafter. The role will be paramount in helping learners achieve excellent results while following and implementing the schemes of learning.

Qualifications

• A first class or 2:1 degree in English
• QTS, PGCE or DTTLS and experience in a further educational environment
• Experience teaching young people in a diverse setting
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• SEND and safeguarding experience is desirable
