Key Responsibilities- Planning and delivering high quality GCSE and Functional Skills English lessons
- Using creative approaches to engage learners of varying abilities
- Tracking progress and providing constructive, motivating feedback
- Supporting learners with exam preparation and resit pathways
- Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Creating an inclusive, encouraging and achievement focused classroom environment
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Strong subject knowledge in English at GCSE level
- FE experience is an advantage, but secondary experience is equally valued
- Excellent communication, organisation and rapport building skills
- A commitment to high expectations, learner progress and safeguarding
