Job Description

GCP Site Reliability Engineer

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a GCP SRE for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Edinburgh offering 2 days per week remote bur requiring 3 days per week on-site.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, etc.), Experience managing containerized workloads (Kubernetes preferred - GKE), Solid Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar), Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools, Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.), Experience in production incident management and troubleshooting distributed systems.
