GCP Devops Engineer - London (Inside IR 35)(3 Days onsite)

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client, a leading Bank in London, through our consulting engagement. This is an Inside IR35 contract role, offering the chance to work on cutting-edge application CI/CD pipelines and large-scale cloud-native projects.

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will focus on building, scaling, and maintaining application CI/CD pipelines, while enabling secure, reliable, and high-performing deployment processes. You will collaborate with development, security, and cloud engineering teams to drive automation and ensure seamless integration across platforms.

Must-Have Skills

• Terraform Expertise with proven hands-on experience in GCP base modules, including:

  • Pub/Sub

  • GKE

  • GCS

  • CloudSQL

  • BigQuery

• Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development using:

  • GitOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker

• Containers Expertise: Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Anthos Service Mesh

Good-to-Have Skills

• Prior experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google products

• Strong understanding of security considerations and tools for pipeline security integration

Technical Proficiency

• Proven experience in one or more programming/Scripting languages:

  • Python, Go, Groovy, Bash, PowerShell

• Nice to Have: Exposure to GenAI/Agentic technologies
