About the role

The role holder will be responsible for the gas and electrical compliance function, ensuring statutory safety across properties and programmes. This will be achieved by meeting compliance targets, reducing risk, and maintaining full adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

The role will lead the delivery of inspection, servicing, and remedial works, providing regulatory guidance and driving continuous improvement within an agreed charge structure. The postholder will ensure robust governance, effective contractor management, and compliance with all relevant gas and electrical safety legislation.

The role will also oversee service and warranty issues relating to upgrades delivered by our in house team. In this customer-facing role, the team will deliver works on behalf of registered social landlords (RSLs), private landlords, and customers, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

About you
  • Proven experience leading and managing gas and electrical compliance teams and programmes.
  • Strong experience interpreting and applying standards within our clients' statutory frameworks.
  • Significant experience coordinating contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of gas and electrical legislation, landlord obligations, and safety compliance frameworks.
  • Expertise in scheduling work activity to ensure safety standards are adhered.
  • Highly developed communication skills, staff management experience.
  • Well-developed skills in stakeholder negotiation and cross-team coordination.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rota to support out-of-hours service delivery.
