Garment Technologist

We are recruiting for a successful ladies and men's lifestyle brand seeking a Garment Technologist to join their busy team.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

1. Preparing garments for fit sessions, updating workbooks, reviewing construction and components.
2. Confidently measuring garments and models.
3. Documenting measurements and training team members.
4. Attending fit sessions, fitting garments, and providing fit comments.
5. Updating workbooks and size charts, and communicating with factories.
6. Liaising confidently with suppliers and factories across Europe and the Far East.
7. Ensuring smooth production processes and resolving issues.
8. Approving shipment samples and AQL reports.
9. Collaborating with design and supply teams to develop new seasonal products.
10. Developing and approving packaging and labelling standards.
11. Reviewing and approving or rejecting test reports.
12. Understanding different construction methods for Jersey garments and their cost impacts.

Person Specification:

1. Minimum 3 years' experience, preferably in jersey products.
2. Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
3. Highly proficient in IT skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
4. Confident communicator and well-organized.
5. Self-motivated, capable of managing own workload, and a team player.
