Riada Resourcing is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded manufacturer, supplier and installer of roller garage doors, sectional garage doors and steel personnel door sets. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Garage Door Installer to join their expanding team.

• Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:30pm

What you will be doing in the role:

Reporting to the Sales & Installations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing and maintenance of garage doors and door automation systems, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately and to a high standard. Duties will include:

• Install and service a range of garage doors and door automation systems.
• Ensure installations are completed to specification and customer requirements.
• Carry out maintenance and repair work when required.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and health and safety practices.
• Assist with other operational duties as required.

What you will need for the role:

• Full, clean driving licence (C1 licence desirable).
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurements accurately and follow written instructions.
• Good communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional overtime and weekend work when required.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home on occasion.
• Physically capable of carrying out heavy manual handling duties.
