Gantry Crane Operator (NG Person)

Location:Tilbury, South East England Hours:07:30 - 18:00Duration: 2 Months

A leading power and utilities contractor is currently seeking a Gantry Crane Operator (NG Person) to support Power Transmission & Distribution works on a National Grid project.

Duties include:

• Operating gantry crane equipment on a National Grid site

• Supporting lifting operations in a live power environment

• Working in accordance with National Grid rules and procedures

• Assisting site operations as required

• Carrying out pre-use checks and maintaining equipment standards

• Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

• NG Person authorisation

• Experience operating gantry cranes

• Previous Power T&D or National Grid project experience

• Strong understanding of site safety and lifting operations
