Gaming & Tech Category Manager - Wolverhampton - Full time - £25,000 - £35,000 DOE
RoleAs Gaming Category Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the growth of our consoles and gaming tech range. You'll manage stock, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions that keep us competitive while ensuring our customers always find the products they want. This is a role where your passion for gaming meets your commercial acumen.
What You'll Do- Manage stock levels to ensure supply meets demand without overstocking
- Analyse sales data and market trends to spot opportunities and gaps
- Forecast demand and plan seasonal promotions around major releases
- Monitor and adjust pricing to stay competitive and maximise profitability
- Place and manage orders in line with sales trends and performance
- Track customer behaviour and competitor activity to refine strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate listings and smooth operations
- Passionate gamer with strong knowledge of consoles and accessories
- Experience managing gaming or electronics categories (preferred)
- Data-driven mindset with a commercial approach to decision-making
- Creative thinker with the ability to spot trends early
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive problem-solver with a sense of urgency
