The Role

As a Furnace Operator, you'll work as part of a small team to meet production targets and carry out heat treatment of critical aerospace and medical components. You will operate furnaces, prepare and process customer parts, and ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards. You'll also support production flow by working to written procedures, monitoring processes, maintaining accurate output, and assisting with goods in/out activities. The role includes FLT operation and First Aid duties (training provided), occasional local driving, and general support to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Key Essentials
  • Engineering or manufacturing background
  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Basic IT skills (spreadsheets advantageous)
  • Ability to work to procedures and quality standards
  • Flexible, team-focused approach with willingness to train

Location & Work Pattern

This role is based in Chardwith onsite expectations. Shift work is required 6-2.2-10,10-6
