Job Description

Fundraising and Events Officer - Norfolk & Suffolk

37 Hours per week

Salary £24,332 pro rata

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual, with excellent communication and project management skills, and experience of arranging, executing and evaluating successful fundraising events, to meet the fundraising targets, set by our Board and thereby support the vital services we deliver to people affected by domestic abuse across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven track record of arranging, executing and evaluating successful fundraising events.
  • Innovative, imaginative, creative and professional attitude towards fundraising and events.
  • Ability to develop effective partnerships and form productive working relationships at all levels.
  • Drive and determination to see projects to conclusion.
  • Ability to be resilient, work under pressure, and flexible to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to give presentations to large groups of people and engage with people on a 1:1 basis.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Driving licence and ability to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, Publisher.
  • Ability to be reliable and flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the organisation i.e. fundraising activities or promotional presentations at the weekend or evening.
