Job Description
Role Overview

The Fund Accounting Assistant Manager will manage a team in a high growth area of SEI.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for clients on accounting matters.
  • Ensure delivery of timely and accurate NAVs.
  • Ensure client service excellence and timely query resolution.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis for issues and ensure fit for purpose remediation.
  • Ensure procedures and controls are adhered to.
  • Train, coach, and mentor new employees; develop and motivate staff within their team.
  • Build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing subject matter expertise to support new business efforts.
  • Review fund documents in advance of new fund launches, identify and highlight any potential areas of operational risk.
  • Represent SEI and present the Administrator's report at fund board meetings as requested.
Qualifications
  • At least 6 years' experience in alternative funds, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Some experience in private markets is preferable.
  • Experience in working on a fund accounting system, preferably Investran and/or Geneva.
  • Strong knowledge of alternative fund structures, various fund domiciles, regulatory requirements, and performance calculations.
  • Demonstrable experience of fund/fee documentation review and interpretation.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring.
  • Strong data management skills.
  • ACCA qualification preferable but not essential.
  • Curious mindset and ability to execute change.
