Functional Analyst

Introduction

We're looking for an experienced Functional Analyst (freelance or Fixed contract) to strengthen the Business Intelligence and ERP team.

As a Functional Analyst, you'll act as the vital link between business units and the technical project teams. Your role will involve working on ERP and integrated applications to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into scalable IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Analyze existing processes and identify improvement opportunities across financial, operational, and asset management systems.
• Participate in end-to-end project lifecycles, from requirement gathering to post-implementation support.
• Bridge communication between non-technical business teams and technical developers.
• Create clear documentation including user stories, use cases, diagrams, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure integration and compatibility across various systems by collaborating closely with other IT and business teams.
• Conduct validation and functional testing of implemented solutions.
• Provide and maintain detailed user manuals and training materials.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Functional Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear and accessible manner to various stakeholders.
• Experienced in working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Azure DevOps.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
