Job Description

PVH invites applications for a PhD Studentship focusing on how redox regulation supports platelet function and signalling. The project explores how platelet-released substances influence thrombosis and potential therapies, employing mass spectrometry, microscopy, and related assays.

Supervised by Dr Lisa Holbrook and Dr Ioannis Smyrnias, it starts October 2026. Fully funded by the Academy of Medical Sciences and University of Surrey, UKRI stipend is provided.
