Fully Funded PhD: Corrosion-Resistant Aluminium Alloys

University of Manchester is offering a fully funded PhD studentship in the Department of Materials to explore corrosion-resistant aluminium alloys and their design from recycled content.

The project combines advanced characterization, electrochemical testing and microstructural analysis to build new alloys with high strength and improved corrosion resistance, working with an interdisciplinary team and industrial partners.
