Fully Funded PhD: Community-Centric Heritage Tourism

The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) in Scotland is advertising a fully funded PhD studentship in community-centric heritage tourism. The project investigates how heritage tourism can support post-industrial regeneration, local empowerment, and sustainable development in Scotland.

The work uses qualitative research methods and close engagement with communities and stakeholders, examining how heritage tourism can be economically generative and socially inclusive.
