Full time Nanny for family of 6, in Bath

About the Role

A busy family of six in Bath is looking for a live-in nanny. The role involves childcare duties only. You will predominantly look after twins aged 2 years, help with school runs for the two older children aged 9 and 7, take the twins to local groups, prepare healthy nutritious meals, manage children's laundry, tidy bedrooms and play areas, and balance the needs of all children. On school holidays the older children may attend holiday clubs or play dates, so you will rarely have sole charge of all four.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be patient, active, fun, nurturing and have good communication. A qualification in childcare is not essential; the most important requirement is age-appropriate experience and having worked with multiple children before as a nanny.

Accommodation & Living Conditions

You will live in an annexe with a separate entrance, a large bedroom/living space, bathroom and kitchen. The family live near Bath University and the house backs onto Skyline Walk. A driver is required for school runs; a driver is provided on duty.

Permanent, full-time live-in position.

Working Days & Hours

• Monday and Friday 7.30am-6pm
• Tuesday and Wednesday 7am-7pm

Requirements

• Minimum experience: 4 years in childcare, ideally as a nanny
• Required training: Paediatric First Aid
• Driving licence: Essential, car provided for duty
• Enhanced DBS certificate up to date, 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate mandatory
• Professional references: minimum two referees, one current or last employer, both immediately contactable
• Professional insurance: Nanny insurance recommended
• Right to work: face to face registration interviews normally, video call registrations and digital checks considered in special circumstances

Salary

£32,760 gross per annum (live in).
