Days: Monday-Thursday Hours: 7:30am - 6:30/7:00pm Salary: £16 to £18 gross per hour (depending on experience)

G4, B2 & G9 months

A warm and welcoming family in Harpenden are looking for a fun, experienced, and caring nanny to join them long term from September 2026

The Role

The family are looking for a nanny who is warm, playful, and confident caring for three young children with a mix of sole and shared care.

Duties include

• Morning routine - helping with breakfast, getting the children dressed, and off to pre school/activities
• Planning fun and engaging activities such as toddler groups, playdates, and outings (the family have a zoo membership)
• Supporting nap and feeding routines, batch cooking and meal prep for the children
• Taking care of nursery duties such as children's laundry and keeping play areas tidy
• Encouraging a calm and creative atmosphere with crafts, stories, and play
• Keeping parents updated and maintaining open, friendly communication

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years' experience caring for young children, including babies and toddlers
• Reliable, fun, and nurturing, able to build a strong bond with the children
• Happy to work alongside mum
• Organised and able to help keep family life running smoothly
• Preferred long term nanny who can grow with the family
