Full Time Lecturer/Course Tutor in Engineering

As part of the ongoing development and growth of the Engineering provision at our Folly Lane campus in Hereford, we are seeking to appoint to a Full Time Lecturer/Course Tutor in Engineering.
The successful candidate may also be eligible to apply for the government's levelling up premium payment of up to £6,000 - Levelling up premium payments for FE teachers - GOV.UK ().
You will deliver a range of modules to mainly full time 16-19 year old students, engineering apprentices and HNC students studying Engineering qualifications at Levels 2, 3 & 4. Subjects being sought include Analogue Electronics, Electronic Devices & Circuits, Electronic Circuit Construction, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Digital Electronics.
The ability to deliver subjects in Automation, Robotics and Control Technologies would be advantageous but not essential.
As part of the role, you will also be expected to carry out the associated organisational/administrative processes including preparation of work, marking and assessment, course tutorship, student welfare and counselling and to support and participate fully in the ongoing Faculty and College activities to achieve the College's key mission and objectives.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (minimum HNC) and have relevant work/industrial experience within the Engineering industry. Those without teaching experience, but willing to train towards, are welcome to apply. Although this is a full-time role, the college will consider applicants who wish to be considered under a fractional basis.

Salary: Up to £38,066 (FTE) subject to qualifications and experience
