The Supply Register is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Chesterfield to recruit a Full-Time Design & Technology Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate DT specialist who wants to inspire students through creativity, practical learning, and innovation across Key Stage 3 and 4.

The role includes:• Delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)• Developing students' practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities• Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress• Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment• Supporting curriculum development and enrichment opportunities• Working collaboratively within a supportive DT department

We're looking for candidates who:• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification• Have experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level• Have strong subject knowledge (e.g. Product Design, Engineering, Resistant Materials, or similar)• Are passionate about practical learning and student achievement• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management• Work effectively as part of a team
