They are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Financial Services Audit team in Galway. As a key member of the team, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, providing audit and related services.

- Manage a large and varied portfolio of clients, ensuring the quality of audit work is of the highest standard
- Develop and maintain client relationships, including the promotion of new business opportunities
- Supervise and train junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Take responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit team
- Prepare and present business tenders to develop and grow the client portfolio
- Negotiate client fees and manage working capital
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Minimum 7+ years' experience
- Insurance audit experience is highly desirable
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Irish GAAP and auditing standards (IFRS experience is an advantage but not essential)
- Experience in electronic auditing and the ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment
- Commercial awareness and the ability to make professional judgments based on findings
- Portfolio management experience
- Experience working as part of a team supporting others
- Experience gained in a Big 4 accounting firm would be advantageous
