Job Description

Gronda exists to help chefs unleash their potential. To do this, we want to bring all chefs and their work together in one place. And this is where you will play a key role. You will be part of one of our product teams whose mission is to build the best possible tools to help chefs easily build their online culinary portfolio and share their culinary creations with the community. As part of the team, you will take our front-end development to the next level, focusing on Reactive Native applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will also help bring our web to the next level using NextJS.

Your responsibility

  • Deliver high-quality, fast, and reliable features using modern development practices and AI tools
    • Ship production-ready code that meets design and product requirements with minimal bugs.
    • Leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
    • Ensure all code is well-structured, tested, and maintainable.
  • Ensure frontend application performance, reliability, and scalability
    • Monitor, analyze, and improve key performance indicators (load times, Core Web Vitals, error rates).
    • Implement optimizations across mobile and web for speed and responsiveness.
    • Set up tracking/monitoring dashboards and proactively address issues before they impact users.
  • Keep the frontend stack up to date and aligned with modern standards
    • Regularly review and upgrade dependencies, frameworks, and build tools.
    • Introduce new technologies thoughtfully, ensuring they bring measurable value.
    • Maintain documentation and best practices for the team.
Your profile
  • Several years of experience as a FE developer
    • Strong skills in React (optional: React Native or Next)
    • Experience in mobile development
    • Experience in CI/CD oricesses
  • Proactivity and Accountability: You love to get things done. You take initiative and ownership and do what you say you will do.
  • Problem-solving: You think outside of the box and have a problem-solving mindset. You demonstrate a high degree of autonomy in solving problems that arise in the different projects.
  • Drive to learn: You want to continuously learn and improve and you can quickly understand and apply new knowledge and information

Location: Remotely in South America or Europe

Salary: Min. €55,000 - overpay based on skills

Other benefits: Tech and learning budget, two team offsites a year etc.
