This exciting role offers a great opportunity for a creative and talented front end developer who is looking to join a small, focused, passionate, and supportive team to help contribute to the evolution of our core B2B ordering platform and play a key role in the transition to a next-generation digital ordering experience.
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will help us improve our front-end applications to drive productivity and efficiency within our business, and most importantly, delight our customers.
As a highly motivated developer with at least 5 years of experience, you will focus on creating features for modern cloud applications in Angular running on Azure. Within the digital products team, you will be the front-end expert, vital to sprint velocity, stand-ups, estimations, and retrospectives.
You will be critical to all stages of software development, from architecture design and performance evaluation to build and deployment pipeline creation, and application monitoring.

- Frontend: Angular, React, Flutter

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and related technologies (TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, etc.)
- Collaborate with back-end developers and product owners to translate business requirements into user interfaces.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure quality and stability.
- Drive continuous improvement and own your code through deployment.
- Engage with users to understand their challenges and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Proactively develop your skills and seek out learning opportunities.
- Collaborate across teams to better understand business and customer needs.
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience in a commercial environment.
- Proven experience with Angular and modern front-end principles.
- Strong knowledge of Web UI development (HTML, SASS, CSS, JS, TypeScript).
- Experience with version control systems, ideally Git.
- Self-motivated with pragmatic decision-making skills.
- Focus on delivering quality code supported by reviews and testing.
Desirable:
- Experience with React
- Knowledge of feature flagging tools like LaunchDarkly
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- API development with ASP.NET Core (C#)
- Experience with OAuth2.0 / OpenID Connect in Angular
- Knowledge of OWASP top 10 and web security best practices.
