Front End Developer

We are hiring on behalf of aworld-class, product-focused technology companyundergoing a significant platform evolution. This role sits at the intersection offrontend engineering, product experience, and platform modernization, and will play a critical role in shaping the future of a core, user-facing application used within regulated, high-impact environments.

This is ahands-on frontend engineering role. You will bridge product vision and engineering execution, translating design systems and user requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable frontend solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Professional experience with a modern JavaScript web framework/library - 4-5yrs +.
• Experienced in writing automated unit and integration tests.
• Professional experience using Git.
• Excellent JavaScript concepts knowledge (ES5, ES6+).
• Excellent understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with web package bundlers (Webpack, Lerna, Rollup).
• A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive and solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of React 16+
• Experience with Behaviour Driven Development
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with containerisation

Responsibilities

• Develop features and iterate on codebase in a manner that is secure, well-tested and performant.
