French speaking Accounting Manager
Location: Gloucester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Main Duties

To oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the UK and France, while leading the accounts team.

The Role

• Lead and develop the accounts team, setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met
• Oversee all accounting operations across legal entities, including multi-currency reconciliations, trial balance accuracy and debtor management
• Produce monthly, quarterly and year-end management accounts, including VAT, VIES and EU reporting
• Manage cashflow reporting and support annual budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain strong financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous process improvement through KPIs
• Assist in other assignments and projects when required, ensuring confidentiality at all times

Candidate's Profile

• Fluent in French (written and spoken)
• Previous experience in a Finance role
• AAT qualified would be an advantage
• Strong leadership skills
• Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
• IT literate with experience with Excel and Sage
