Are you a highly experienced Freelance Site Manager with a Tier 1 main contractor background? Do you have a track record of delivering high-spec, multi-unit residential developments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

THE ROLE

We're working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor delivering a prestigious multi-block apartment scheme in the heart of Manchester. They are looking for a Freelance Site Manager to oversee key packages, ensuring high-quality standards, programme adherence, and smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring H&S compliance and smooth project delivery
2. Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and timely progress
3. Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain schedules and resolve on-site challenges
4. Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with building regs and spec
5. Report on progress, site logistics, and key milestones

THE CANDIDATE

1. Proven experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor on large-scale residential projects
2. Strong knowledge of high-rise, RC frame construction and internal fit-out
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively
4. Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification
5. Ability to hit the ground running and drive the project forward
