Freelance EWM/ABAP Consultant - Belgium

Contract - part time (50%) | Immediate Start | Long-Term Project

We're currently supporting a public-sector-driven organization in Belgium looking to onboard a Senior SAP EWM ABAP Developer to support a major ongoing logistics transformation programme.

This opportunity is part time (50%), offering hybrid working with a base location in Northern Belgium, and comes with a long-term framework agreement in place until 2027.

The Role

You'll be joining an established SAP team focused on optimising key warehouse operations. As part of a broader roadmap, you will contribute to technical improvements across inbound, putaway, picking, and outbound flows.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and maintaining ABAP solutions tailored to SAP EWM logistics processes

• Building custom RF screens, PPF actions, and monitoring tools for distribution centres and workshops

• Supporting integration with other SAP modules like MM and SD (EAM experience is beneficial)

• Implementing enhancements using BADIs, user-exits, and the SAP Enhancement Framework

• Collaborating closely with functional consultants, architects, and project leaders

• Contributing to the strategic evolution of the EWM landscape

Your Profile

• Proven experience developing within SAP EWM using ABAP

• Comfortable leading development efforts and mentoring junior developers

• Strong debugging, testing, and clean coding skills

• Familiarity with Agile environments and working in iterative sprints

• Fluent in English and/or Dutch
