Freelance Creative Data Visualisation Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a Data Visualisation Specialist to join us on a freelance hybrid contract here at Radley Yeldar. The specialist will be responsible for creating and designing visual representations of data to help our clients communicate complex information clearly and effectively, with an underlying narrative.

We expect that the data points supplied, along with an over-arching story, to be executed creatively, attending to brand guidelines. We require expertise in developing a creative look and feel to the data points, based on similar examples of other client work and marrying across the over-arching story. Ideally, being able to identify a story element or challenge the over-arching story based on the data supplied, would be a beneficial skill.

Location and timing

The role is located in Shoreditch, London, with work from home options. The role will start within the next week with an initial need for 1-2 weeks, with a possible more long-term requirement.

Contract terms

Contract terms and day rate to be discussed. Outside IR35 - day rate to be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Experience in interpreting and presenting data visually
• Experience in creating interactive data visualizations
• Ability to use data points to tell a compelling story and demonstrable experience with clients in this area
• Knowledge of graphic design principles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a creative team
