Freelance - Senior ERP Technical Analyst - SAP IS-U/S/4HANA - Belgium

Contract: part time (Approx. 2-3 days/week, Thursday on-site)
Duration: Until 31 December 2025 (Extension possible)

Overview:

Our client is undertaking a strategic implementation of SAP IS-U on S/4HANA (on-premise) and is looking for an experienced Senior ERP Technical Analyst to support the setup and integration with other systems.

This role involves guiding technical developments, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, and managing the coordination required to deliver custom solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and coordinate administrative and technical requirements aligned with SAP design and build standards

• Provide direction to developers, ensuring compliance with agreed development frameworks

• Support integration of IS-U data flows to other applications

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Technical Analyst in the utilities sector

• Senior-level experience (5+ years) in SAP system operations

• Deep knowledge of ERP/SAP business processes, including process and technical specification drafting

• Solid background in ABAP development on S/4HANA (5+ years)

• Extensive work with BPEM (Business Process Exception Management)

• Good understanding of MPM (Advanced Meter Processing/APE)

• Familiarity with the SAP Utilities Roadmap

• Experience with a Distribution System Operator (DSO) or energy supplier

Language Requirements:

• Dutch at CEFR level C2 (mandatory)

Additional Information:

• Candidate must be available on-site every Thursday

• part time workload (~50%)

• Initial contract through end of 2025, with potential 6-month extension
