Job Description

Location: Grantham

Duration: 12 weeks

Responsibilities
  • Real-Time Monitoring: Track pressure levels, flow rates, and fluid volumes, ensuring operations stay within safe limits.

  • Environmental Protection & Surveillance: Inspect the work area for signs of "frac-outs"-inadvertent returns of drilling mud to the surface-and keep watch for leaks.

  • Equipment Inspection: Conduct routine checks of frac equipment, including pressure control equipment, hoses, and pumps, ensuring they are functional.

  • Communication: Act as a key point of communication between the site crew, engineers, and management regarding potential hazards or anomalies.

  • Emergency Response: Support immediate action if a frac-out occurs, such as stopping the pump, containing the spilled material, and activating emergency procedures.

  • Documentation: Accurately record operational data, safety incidents, and inspection results in daily logs.

Requirements
  • Valid CSCS card is essential.

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.

  • Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment.

  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

  • Health and safety awareness with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
