FPS Solutions Integrity Management Business Leader

Responsibilities

• Full P&L responsibility of the IM business, HSE, business strategy, financials, operations, technical, business development, and team & site management.
• Business growth: growing current portfolio and market exposure by building strong relationships with customers, sales/commercial and finance teams.
• Building the right business strategy to support business growth in a sustainable way and aligned with services strategy.
• Leading the IM teams (engineering/technology/operations) to ensure a multi disciplinary approach to the development of products/services and the underlying technology, along with strong operational delivery for projects won.
• Stimulating and leading a creative environment in which the IM team can work efficiently and provide solutions to technology challenges at the forefront of current understanding, exercising guidance to ensure a pragmatic approach is taken where possible.
• Engaging with customers to gain "Voice of Customer" insight and input these insights into the product development process along with new business development opportunities.
• Demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial approach for growing the business due to its startup nature and size.
• Coaching, mentoring IM team staff and carrying out all duties associated with their line management and development.
• Working cross functionally with BH/FPS technical and commercial teams to maximize and deliver the mutual benefits from their pipe qualification and other technical programmes along with business growth opportunities.
• Ensuring safe management of the business IP creation, documentation and security processes.
• Participating as part of FPS services management team, including contributions to strategy, commercial development, safety and other operational matters.

Qualifications

• BSc (physics/engineering/business admin.) plus demonstrable post graduate experience in science/engineering or business administration.
• Proven years of P&L management or similar experience; technology portfolio and team size of 15+ people.
• Significant experience in the Energy industry.
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into effective business solutions in line with business strategy.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, engineering drawings, product specifications, industry codes, and ISO regulations.
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences, including suppliers and internal/external customers.
