Overview

Robert Walters are partnering with a high growth PE-backed business to recruit a high-calibre FP&A Manager to work closely with the board during a period of growth.

Reporting to a CFO with PE experience, this highly commercial role is crucial to future EBITDA performance of the £20m turnover Group. You will gain exposure to the whole business and its PE investors, receive first-class training and development, and have tangible influence on the business's future success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop financial models to forecast future financial performance.
  • Build strong working relationships with the board, PE investors and operational teams.
  • Utilise data & analysis skills to understand consumer trends and ROI on investments (such as customer acquisition).
  • Develop long-term financial plans.
  • Work closely with the CFO to build and maintain a new advanced operating model.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to drive revenue growth and client retention.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial modelling.
  • Prepare and interpret trading sales, KPI reporting with analysis and commentary.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards.
  • Partner with various divisions and teams, ensuring expectations are clear along with provision of analysis to better understand performance.
The successful individual
  • Fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
  • Proven success in a varied commercial finance role within a high-growth SME.
  • Experience in a PE-backed business, ideally within SAAS or Financial Services.
  • Proven background in leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ability to drive improvements to processes and systems, with prior exposure to data visualisation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
