We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a leading company in the energy & natural resources sector. This role based in London focuses on delivering financial planning and analysis to support business decision-making.

Description

  • Prepare detailed financial analysis, forecasts, and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor financial performance against key metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify trends and highlight risks or opportunities within financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Profile

A successful FP&A Analyst should have:

  • A background in FP&A is essential, ideally qualified or qualified by experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools e.g. Power BI
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the energy & natural resources sector is desirable.
