About the role:

As a Casting Technician in our Foundry, you'll support our Engineering and Production teams in preparing and controlling the metal casting process. You'll ensure materials meet specification, maintain a safe working environment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing and controlling metal casting processes to meet production schedules.
• Performing checks to ensure material quality and specification compliance.
• Managing the casting area for efficient workflow.
• Supporting sampling and production activities for repeatable processes.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Implementing safe working practices in a high-temperature environment.
• Assisting with audits and process improvements.

Who we're looking for:

You'll bring experience and a proactive approach to working in a Foundry environment. Skills include:

• Experience of foundry processes.
• Desirable but not essential is experience working with Aluminium and to automotive quality standards.
• Manual handling and HSE awareness training.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Crane slinger, bobcat or overhead crane training (or willingness to train).
• Ability to travel to site.
