Founding Finance Leader for AI-Driven Lab Infrastructure

Substrate in London is hiring a founding finance leader to build the finance function from the ground up, owning month-end close, management accounts, payroll, statutory accounts, audits and the cap table as the company scales its capital-intensive, usage-priced model.

You will shape the financial model, scenario planning and investor updates, manage CAPEX spend and debt, define pricing linked to billing, and work closely with co-founders to set strategy and fundraising.
