Job Description

Founding Developer Evangelist (Enterprise)

Salary: £60k-£90k + Equity

Company Description: Enterprise AI research and development lab

Job Description: You will be the primary technical voice for a research-driven startup building autonomous coding agents. Bridging the gap between cutting-edge ML research and enterprise adoption, you will lead technical evaluations with global organizations, create rigorous technical content, and help sophisticated engineering teams understand and trust agentic systems in air-gapped environments.

Location: London, UK

Why this role is remarkable:
  • Lead evangelism for a world-leading autonomous coding agent that outperforms major benchmarks in software engineering accuracy
  • Join a well funded startup backed by top tier VCs that is uniquely positioned as the only managed product for regulated, air gapped enterprises
  • Work directly with the executive team to define the technical narrative for high stakes pilots with global investment banks and defense primes
What you will do:
  • Act as the technical counterpart for enterprise engineering teams during high stakes pilots, architecture reviews, and security focused deep dives
  • Create high quality, long form technical content including explainers on agent architecture, evaluation methods, and on premise deployment constraints
  • Capture real world technical feedback from field evaluations to directly influence the product roadmap and research priorities for the engineering team
The ideal candidate:
  • Deep technical background as a software or ML engineer with the ability to reason about complex system trade offs and failure modes
  • Fluent in modern AI systems, including model training, agentic behavior, and the operational requirements of deploying AI in production
  • Exceptional communicator capable of earning the trust of CTOs and Staff+ engineers through technical depth, clarity, and rigorous mental models

We never post fake jobs

This isn't a trick. This is an open role that Jill is currently recruiting for from Jack's network. Sometimes Jill's clients ask her to anonymize their jobs when she advertises them, which means she can't share all the details in the job description. We appreciate this can make them look a bit suspect, but there isn't much we can do about it.
